Individual Style and Style Impact

Your unique "biology" that is born from the daily habituations and patterns that make up your mental, physical and emotional patterns dictates your leadership behavior. While everyone has a personality, you are much more than this.

The workshop not only allows you to identify what is easy for you, the kind of work environments you prefer, the areas in which you may have difficulty and what you may need to learn, but allows you to construct a conscious, evolutionary path to becoming the very best of who you are. In increasing your understanding of your Self, you increase your understanding of others. Here is a powerful opportunity to learn more about yourself and others, your strengths and vulnerabilities, your negative patterns and tools to transform those patterns in order to activate greater success, influence and well-being from the inside out.

Having used a variety of online computerized platforms that analyze the individual’s strengths and weaknesses, we believe that the leadership model that the individual must learn to practice is based upon the innate image that lies inside the individual. When the model is imposed from the outside, we know from experience that the changes the individual makes will be short-lived. When the model is imposed from within the individual, we know from experience that the changes and growth will be much more sustainable.

Objectives:

  1. Assess your leadership style and identify your strengths, barriers and targeted areas of growth.

  2. Learn how to motivate people of varying styles and increase your appreciation for diversity of thought.

  3. Understand the source of behaviors that erode your leadership and relationships, empowering you to create sustainable change.

  4. Create a leadership model of your StressSelf and LeaderSelf using MindSpring’s Advanced Profiles that accompany Anthony Gregorc’s “Adult Style Delineator,” the assessment used in this program.
